ProgQuébec's first release from the seminal Montreal progressive band Maneige, who existed from 1973 to 1983. This is an hour-long concert from 1975 with 20 minutes bonus material from 1974. The main concert is at the bridge between their early, classically informed progressive chamber rock period, with the 29-minute 'La Balloune', and their middle period consisting of concise, melodic, intricate jazz fusion. 'Mambo Chant' and 'Les Pinettes' which would later appear on their album 'Ni Vent... Ni Nouvelle', get an airing here. The bonus material includes the 18-minute 'Le Rafiot' from their first release. This is an excellent introduction to the band as it showcases both periods of the band.
