Co-composer for Contraction, Yves Laferrière's solo album, originally released in 1978, integrates elements of rock, jazz fusion, and film scoring to create a diverse and pleasing largely instrumental album filled alternately with beauty and surprise. The very impressive musician list includes members of Contraction, L'Orchestre Sympathique and Conventum. René Lussier's guitar playing is a particular highlight.
