PSYCHEDELIC/PROGRESSIVE/FOLK

Bemibek
Sprzedaj Mnie Wiatrowi
The first release of this set of radio recordings of the legendary early '70s outfit from Poland. Bemibek was a fantastic, but underappreciated group, performing jazz, rock and Latin-tinged music.

Komatsu
A Breakfast For Champions (black)
Dutch rockers Komatsu's 5th album is no fluffy pancake! 8 heavy, filling and delicious tracks will blow your mind and boost your immune system. Now as a three-piece band, their sound has opened up to show new layers of fuzz, rhythm and groove. Lyrics range from deep topics like the universe, rebirth and dystopia to fatcamps and female parts. Komatsu is proud to add some extra grease, grit and crunch to your morning oatmeal so you can face anything the world throws at you!

Jewelled Moon
Electric Waters
Jewelled Moon only got back together in the old line-up at the beginning of 2020. The origins of these four Tübingen guys, however, go back a few months. Summer 1990, and the burgeoning alternative music scene. The band developed their own, unmistakable style from this. However, they split up in 1996 - but they never lost sight of each other: the musicians kept coming together in different line-ups, up to the present day. They used the two pandemic years for their reunion debut album 'New Sun Rising.' Under the Clostridium Records label, another studio album, 'Electric Waters, is now released on vinyl which underlines the creative output of the band in the four-person line-up of organ/Rhodes, guitar/vocals, drums and bass. For fans of '70s progressive rock... be sure to give it a listen! Limited to 300 copies on ash-grey marbled vinyl with sticker, card and download code.

Naxatras
V
Naxatras' 5th studio album is here! The Citadel illuminates the starry gateways. Inside its ancient chambers, the Spacekeeper waits. The secret land of Narahmon unfolds before his gaze. Time is standing still before the mirror breaks.

Pappo's Blues
Volumen 2 (black)
Svart Records continues to reissue the discography of legendary Argentinian blues rock band Pappo's Blues with their second album 'Volumen 2.' At the beginning of the '70s, guitarist, singer and composer Norberto Aníbal Napolitano, known to the music world as Pappo, was in the enviable position of being considered among the top guitar players of the fast-growing world of Argentine rock. In fact, a quick look at his resumé, so far, would have revealed that Pappo had been there from the very beginning of the genre: as a member of the first version of Los Abuelos De La Nada, then as guitarist in the second lineup of pioneering -and very successful- Los Gatos, with whom we recorded two albums: 'Beat # 1' and 'Rock De La Miujer Perdida;' and also as a brief but solid contributor to the popular band Conexión Nº 5, cult blues combo Engranaje, and his participation in albums like the self-titled debut of Billy Bond Y La Pesada Del Rock And Roll and 'Spinettalandia Y Sus Amigos,' the first solo album of ex-Almendra's Luis Alberto Spinetta. Amazingly all this activity took place in just three years. If wouldn't be far off the mark to say that you could signalize the development of Argentine rock by following Pappo's early musical footsteps between 1968 and 1971. 'Volumen 2' is the second studio album Pappo's Blues, released in November 1972. On this album guitarist Norberto "Pappo" Napolitano established a style with influences of hard rock, blues rock and acid rock, adapting the power trio scheme inaugurated by Cream and Jimi Hendrix Experience to an urban sensibility that integrated naturally into rock of the early '70s. Featuring eight songs all composed by Pappo with each track showing the genius of him as a composer, performer and guitarist, filled with memorable riffs and solos, as well as a lyrical sensitivity that reflects his image as a Buenos Aires guitar hero.

Dzamble
W Noc I W Dzien. Nagrania Archiwalne Z Lat (3cd)
'Archival Radio, TV & live recordings 1969-1972' - 'W Noc I W Dzien: Nagrania Archiwalne Z Lat 1969-1972' is a comprehensive three-CD compilation by the Polish band Dzamble, released by Kameleon Records in 2024. This collection features all of the band's preserved radio, television, and concert recordings from 1969 to 1972, excluding the nine tracks from their album 'Wolanie O Slonce Nad Swiatem,' which are included here in their radio versions.

Antykwa
Nasze Pokolenia
Antykwa - Complete Recordings on CD! For the first time ever, the full recordings of underground Polish rock legends Antykwa are available on CD. Fans of Romuald & Roman, 74 Grupa Biednych, or Klan will love this psychedelic, experimental sound. Sourced from original Radio Kielce master tapes, the audio is pristine. The release comes in an elegant fold-out laminated sleeve with a detailed band history insert. With 7 tracks spanning 49 minutes, Antykwa's music is intricate and immersive - blending early Pink Floyd-style psychedelia, The Doors, and Iron Butterfly influences. Featuring haunting organs, raw guitar, jazzy sax, and poetic vocals, the album's standout tracks include the 10-minute epics 'At Happening Yo You' and 'Our Generations,' alongside the more accessible 'Refleksje.' A lost gem of Polish rock rediscovered at last!

74 Grupa Biednych
W Traby Dac
This CD collects the complete recordings of the underground Polish rock legend 74 Grupa Biednych (also known as Sygnaly 74 and Grupa 74). This elegant edition includes a laminated sleeve, a special envelope for the disc, and an insert detailing the band's history. The 10-track, 57-minute collection showcases the band's unique fusion of psychedelia, experimental music, jazz, and Eastern influences, blended with catchy melodies and a clear, solid sound. If recorded by more famous Polish rock acts, these songs would be considered cult classics today. While three 1972 recordings exist only in lower-quality copies, most tracks are sourced from master tapes, ensuring excellent sound quality. Fans of psychedelic big beat (like Romuald & Roman) will enjoy the Sygnaly 74 tracks, while lovers of progressive, jazz-rock compositions (reminiscent of Frank Zappa and Miles Davis) will appreciate the Grupa 74 material, which even rivals the work of Grupa Niemen. A must-have for Polish rock enthusiasts!

Hades (poland)
Taniec Swiatowida
Kameleon Records unearths another hidden gem, Hades, a '70s Polish rock band that never made it to a professional studio but built a strong underground reputation. Initially channeling Led Zeppelin and ZZ Top, they later embraced progressive, art, and jazz rock, crafting longer, more intricate compositions. The highlight is a three-part, 15-minute suite, blending SBB-like themes with originality and atmosphere. Also included are three shorter tracks, ranging from Santana-esque swing to jazz and blues. Though the recording quality isn't perfect, the music is top-tier Polish prog rock. Packaged in a stunning, fairy-tale-inspired cover, this is a must-have for collectors!
GARAGE/BEAT/SURF/ROCK’N’ROLL

Ventures
Walk Don't Run
Polish edition of the debut album of The Ventures. Includes the stereo and mono versions of the album tracks plus additional recordings. The CD was very carefully remastered and sounds better than ever. An elegant edition in a gatefold card sleeve with a special insert for CD. Pop, Iggy -& James Williamson-
Kill City
Bomp! repress on black vinyl. 'Kill City' is Iggy Pop and James Williamson's often overlooked, yet ultimately essential album, originally recorded in 1975 and later released by Bomp! in '77.

Hamper, Guy -trio- Featuring James Taylor
Chatham's Burning
The Guy Hamper Trio was formed by Billy Childish, after a chat with his friend James Taylor (Hammond organ). Billy and James had played respectively in The Milkshakes and The Prisoners, often sharing the same bill in the early '80s, leading to Billy's blues ensemble The Natural Born Lovers being the support act for the early shows of The James Taylor Quartet. The Guy Hamper Trio is: Billy Childish on guitar, his wife Julie on bass and Wolf on drums - who as it happens was the drummer in the original incarnation of JTQ - and of course features James Taylor on Hammond organ. The Guy Hamper Trio provide a bottom end, blues-influenced instrumental mayhem for those unafraid of dirt, germs and true grime. With no particular wish other than to be recognised as the best at playing badly, they refuse to obey the usual rules of combat and music. Their first 45 ('Polygraph Test'/'Sally Sensation') was released in 2009, followed by a full-length studio album, 'All The Poisons In The Mud,' appearing, as if by magic, in 2022, followed by five 7" singles (via Damaged Goods and Spinout Nuggets), and also two further full-length albums. This fully-loaded three-track 7" EP includes 'Chatham's Burning' (the title of Billy Childish's punk fanzine in 1977) on the opening face, with face B including 'A Common Disease' and 'If People Don't Like It,' both featuring Bash Brand on drums, and Tub Johnson on bass. Once again, after consultation with experts in the field, it was decreed that for the enjoyment of Mods, jive experts, lost revellers, and those prone to frequent discotheques, these tracks needed to be on a 7" single and made available throughout England, the UK, Europe, the USA, Indonesia and indeed Portsmouth. Limited to 500 copies.

This long playing record proves that The Guy Hamper Trio and James Taylor are a perfect team. The fourth in this series of finely crafted compositions, listen out for several tracks also featuring Bash Brand and Tub Johnson as stand in rhythm section (in effect Thee Headcoats). Let's hope theres plenty more from the leaders in jazz/pop mayhem! Limited to 500 copies.

Snake
Always Bites Back (black)
The Snake's charisma stems from a passion for a heartfelt, strong guitar sound, bright vocal harmonies, and lyrics straight out of a diary. The band found its start from a long friendship between Nikita Titov and Elina Rahikainen. After spending a lot of time working together on an idea of a band, they found drummer Lauri Suutarinen, bassist Antti Orajärvi and guitarist Waltteri Alatalo to complete the line-up. This group of old and new friends quickly found their meaningful connection between each other and started creating. Having released two singles and played a handful of shows prior to the release of their highly anticipated debut album 'Always Bites Back,' The Snake has built an engaging reverberant world under the influence of music from the '60s, strong fuzz and simple '90s echo and hints even from country music. Add this all together and you'll hear a very vibrant combination of different worlds.

Hola Ghost
The Man They Couldn't Hang... (black)
Mexican death-surf, digital psychobilly, dark goth disco, rock... The style of the Danish three piece act Hola Ghost has been categorized as all of the above plus more. And not without reason; appearing live with bandanas, bullet belts, sombrero and painted day of the death-masks, the trio fearlessly mix genres to create their own dark Scandinavian mariachi rock sound, inspired by surf music, Mexican folklore, dark disco, psychobilly, B-western movies and what else is out there worth listening to. The three "Copenhagen gringos" present a high energy performance on albums as well as live on stage. 'The Man They Couldn't Hang...' is Hola Ghost's second album originally released on vinyl by the band's own label Hola Pete Records in 2009 and reissued by Svart Records in 2019. Now finally back on the market, the album features 11 tracks with stories of revolution, blood thirsty vampires, howling wolves, hate and love for alligator girls and a whole bunch of other stories delivered with machine gun drumming and heavy rock'n'roll bass and guitar. Hola Ghost was formed as a duo by Peter Sandorff (ex-Nekromantix and Mad Sin) with long time friend Jeppe B. Jessen, to work on the soundtrack for LA bound artist Gris Grimlys' debut movie 'Cannibal Flesh Riot.' They bought a haunted drum machine in a pawn shop in Los Angeles that the shop owner had won in a tequila-soaked poker game in Tijuana in Mexico. While working on the soundtrack the rhythms started to seem colored by the machines Mexican origin. The Mexican influence became trademarks for the bands two studio albums and live performances in Europe, in USA and South America. And after replacing the drum machine, the new drummer Kristian Sandorff is skillfully keeping up the tradition live as well as on the band' releases from 2014 onwards.

INDUSTRIAL/EXPERIMENTAL/NOISE/NEOFOLK/GOTHIC

Cavalera, Iggor/shane Embury
Neon Gods/own Your Darkness
Two legendary titans of the extreme metal scene - Iggor Cavalera (Sepultura/Petbrick) and Shane Embury (Napalm Death/Dark Sky Burial) - join forces for this unique split of brooding dark ambient, industrial strength noise, and heavy synth-laden electronics, creating what feels like the lost soundtrack to some dystopian fever dream. Setting the tone for this double-headed behemoth with creeping, cinematic dark ambience, Iggor Cavalera's's side-long 'Neon Gods' unfolds into a brutal sonic nightmare. Equal measures of dread and anguish come together with the occasional reprieve of slow, pulsating drones and almost meditative waves of static. The crescendo of harsh industrial noise with heavy death industrial vocalisation is nothing short of pummelling. "Neon Gods is a bit of a sonic trip, with different layers of atmospheric vibrations, from darkness to light. It's an absolute pleasure to do this split release with Shane, I believe we share a lot of similar ideas when it comes to opening our mind to different styles of sounds" (IC). Shane Embury's 'Own Your Darkness' merges menacing, pitch-black dark ambient and hypnotic bass swells with celestial synth lines that subtly lurk around the peripheries. Rising and falling, ebbing and flowing - until finally the all-encompassing apocalyptic bleakness, the enveloping darkness, closes in around you. "Iggor and I have been good friends for decades and this is a record very different for us both but amazing! A very interesting track to make, it was my first experiment with the Solar 42. An excellent synth for those eternal drones of despair and was assisted my long time colleague Russ Russell. As I journey ever onward in through my individuation it's imperative that I own my own darkness... hence the title. We all need to strive for balance and to kindle a light in the darkness of being" (SE).
METAL/STONER/HARDROCK

Turbo
W Srodku Tej Ciszky
'In The Middle Of This Silence' (Jarocin 1980) is a never-before-released live recording of Turbo's original lineup from the 1980 1st National Review of Young Generation Music in Jarocin. Captured by Zbigniew Tymyk, the audio has survived in excellent quality. The performance showcases raw, hard-rock energy with powerful riffs, solos, and a tight rhythm section. Released in a classic box with a 12-page booklet featuring photos, memorabilia, and historical notes, the edition was created with full band approval. A must-have for '80s rock fans.

Grupa Stress
On A Hard Rock Way 1972-1973
This album collects the complete set of the band's preserved recordings from 1972-1973, recorded at four radio sessions. For those who don't know Stress's music, we'll inform you that it was the first real Polish power trio. The band played a raw and quite dark type of rock, characterized by heavy but catchy riffs, brilliant guitar solos, dynamic drumming and a monumental bass sound. Stress also didn't shy away from sound experiments (like playing a tape backwards) and expanding their instrumentation with a flute, vibraphone and violin. It's hard to believe that in the PR studio in Poznan, this almost completely forgotten band recorded truly fantastic material, standing on a European level, which beats most of the highly overrated recordings of the then aces of Polish rock. The material has been remastered straight from the master tapes and sounds great, the cover was decorated with photos from the Stress archive, and the CD is released in a fold-out, laminated card sleeve, which is a faithful replica of the identical vinyl release additionally a special envelope for the CD with photos of the band.

Prepare to be seduced and ignite your senses. Open the gatefold cover and rediscover the uninhibited spirit of an icon. Tracks from original master tapes. Originally released in 1987.
ELECTRONIC MUSIC/AMBIENT/D’N’B/TRIPHOP

Zombie Zombie
Funk Kraut
Some record crates deserve a sub-category called "play it again, Sam." Casablanca-level comfort tracks that spin on the turntables without a push. 'Funk Kraut,' Zombie Zombie's second LP on Born Bad, is of this kind. This well-proportioned classic is a fine example of the style the trio has been embodying: instrumental music played live, for synths and drums. The album kicks off with 'No Cruise Control,' a big bad sedan that effortlessly eats up the distance at 120 BPM. Kraut as can be, with a twist. And as far as funk goes, it's not Bootsy Collins, but there's a whiff. Space is structured by synth patterns, for optimized drumming : forward, straight and fluid, top-notch suspension (Cosmic Neman/Dr Schönberg take care of business on drums). They treat themselves to a diversion via Darmstadt to take some musique concrete on board : mechanical birds chirp, the odd atonal piano here and there. Nerds will appreciate liner notes detailing the equipment used: about twenty synths and they still describe it as minimal. This was a quick affair, recorded by Laurent Deboisgisson in the studio of Cheveu's singer. A pretty straightforward job, and a far cry from their previous concept album. Let us praise Krikor Kouchian's mix: drums have been resampled with some restraint, and that LinnDrum kick lightens up the overall mix. It marks a notable evolution in the band's sound, and adds some dynamic. The cover, designed by Dddixie, sets the tone with its 'Motorik Vibes & Stereo Grooves' sticker. Motorik, absolutely, it's Autobahn time for 45mn. And when it comes to stereo grooving, the acoustic image is as wide as the canyons of Mars.
VARIOUS: WORLD, CLASSICAL, SPOKEN WORDS ETC

Mendelssohn-bartholdy, Felix/maurice Ravel
A Midsummer Night's Dream/bolero
Dusty Tapes presents its first classical release... an archival 1960 recording by the National Philharmonic Orchestra under Witold Rowicki, featuring Mendelssohn's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' suite and Ravel's Boléro. Known for its energy and charisma, this early Polish stereo recording rivals Western standards. The album is beautifully packaged with a redesigned cover, historical photos, and a laminated sleeve. Though a departure from Kameleon's usual repertoire, it's a must for classical music lovers and nostalgia seekers alike.
