Skyjoggers
12021: Post-electric Apocalypse
Skyjoggers, the innovative band from Tampere, Finland, fuses the exhilarating elements of space rock and psychedelic soundscapes. Their music captures the essence of cosmic exploration, characterized by hypnotic riffs and an experimental approach that pushes boundaries. With a focus on dynamic performances and rich instrumental textures, Skyjoggers invites listeners on a journey through uncharted musical territories. On '12021 : Post-Electric Apocalypse' Skyjoggers focus on themes such as death, loss and despair. Writing of the album took place during the pandemic, forest fires in the Amazon and wars around the planet - the band took inspiration from such themes trying to channel the hard topics into something beautiful shining a ray of hope and light into the world through music. The album showcases the heaviest side of Skyjoggers heard to this day, bringing elements of black and doom metal into the band's unique mix of modern space rock. Released on smoke green and purple vinyl.

Quasars Of Destiny
Music To Listen To While Eating Planets
"Craig is my cousin and we have talked for some years about making music and it finally happened!! Craig is a talented musician and while he has mostly played the drums in bands, he also is a skilled guitar player. These tracks were created over 5 days when Craig and his friend James visited me in Portugal. We had a lot of fun trying different approaches from laying down just drums and then playing over, playing live synths and drums and then adding layers on the top... Our old friend James also joined us a bit! In the end, we created a quite cool Pink Floyd inspired album. Hope you enjoy it..." ~Dr Space. Craig Wall - drums, congas, shakers, bass, guitars, Rhodes piano, Dr Space - Hammond, Mellotron, synthesizers, James: cow bell, shakers. Limited to 100 copies.

Doctors Of Space
Fusing Your Synapses
Like the 'Adventures In The Deep Dark Seas of Sound,' this album is another collage of older tracks mixed with new more electronic pieces into one 70 minute piece of music. It has a more dark vibe at times which also represents the time we live in at the moment, more authoritarian governments, horrible wars and climate chaos... Time to put your headphones on and disappear for more than an hour on a trip you will not forget!! Limited to 100 copies.

Glass Harp
Where Did My World Come From? (black)
With open arms we receive the upcoming repress of Glass Harp's 'Where Did My World Come From?' on Peppermint Records! First time around the record got sold out faster than it could catch a ride overseas, so make sure you get yours this time around. Originally recorded in 1969, Peppermint Records presents the previously lost Glass Harp album 'Where Did My World Come From?' for the first time officially released. Although only two songs ('Where Did My World Come From,' and 'She Told Me') were ever released in their time, the rest of the recordings have been bootlegged and circulated for years, though none of these were transferred from the original masters. Now, the staff of Peppermint issues these recordings officially for the first time from the original masters! Assumed to be lost for good, Glass Harp's guitarist and vocalist Phill Keaggy accidentally stumbled upon the box with the masters when looking for tapes for another project. Glass Harp's dynamic range and energetic performances in their music takes the listener on an emotional journey through the delicate acoustic ballads to the more driving rock songs. 'Where Did My World Come From?' is a quintessential example of Glass Harp's ability to blend technical skill with emotional depth, making it a standout in their discography. This out of this world psychedelic rock album is an absolute must-have for every psych fan! This release is the black vinyl version.

Le Chiffre Organ-ization
Illustration
Get ready! After 3 singles, 1 EP, and 1 LP, French instrumental band Le Chiffre Organ-Ization is back with their second long-player, 'Illustration.' The band features Alain Jullian, also known as Billy Coog or Mr. Le Chiffre, on organ, Alain Chapot (Number 9) on bass and mastering, and Alexandre Besson on drums and vocals, with Eric Pouchet (aka Eric Damod) on guitar. After extensive touring across Europe, the band returned to the studio to create 12 tracks of new material and two covers. While remaining primarily instrumental, this record includes special guests: Arthur de Cossette, the recording and mixing engineer who helped bring their thoughts and commands to life, Cyril Cucumber from Woom Studio, who designed the cover and added flute to one track, and Eleonor Rochas, who contributed her fantastic voice to another. Le Chiffre Organ-Ization is proud to share this chapter of their story with friends and family and invite you to join them on the dance floor with their incredible gogo dancer Celia. 'Illustration' pays homage to library music, a significant influence on their sound, and delivers a blend of psychedelic vibes, pop-jerk energy, and Hammond groove from France. File under acid jazz, soundtracks, Michel Magne, Michel Legrand, Hammond groove, James Taylor Quartet, Corduroy, Janko Nilovic, Pop Jerk, Big Boss Man.

Shitkicker Rebellion
White Light White Heat/99th Floor
2022 turned out to be an especially fruitful year for Greg Prevost's "artistic pursuits." His biography 'On The Street I Met A Dog' was published just two weeks before the release of his album 'Vintage Violence.' To properly celebrate this coincidence, a presentation was organized at the legendary House of Guitars in Rochester. For such a special event, a book signing was scheduled, spiced up with free pizza, a "party" atmosphere, and a small, unannounced live performance. Greg was joined by his "brothers" and former Chesterfield Kings members Rick Cona (bass), Paul Morabito (guitar), Zachary Koch (drums) and Ryan Moore (lead guitar, piano/organ) from the Low Spirits. The band performed five songs under the name The Shitkicker Rebellion. As expected, it was a blast, leaving both the artists and audience wanting more. Within a couple of weeks, they headed to the studio to record two songs from the brief live set with the idea of releasing a single. This one.

Building
Aspiration
The Building's latest LP "Aspiration", written, produced and performed by Anthony LaMarca, reveals to be another deep and emotional album by the talented multi instrumentalist - now turned front man. With LaMarca's signature guitar sound that is reminiscent of his work with The War On Drugs, he carries it over to his personal album that reveals his vulnerable and deep personal lyrics over the atmospheric and beautiful arrangements he laid it over.

Il Teatro Degli Orrori
A Sangue Freddo (2lp/black)
'A Sangue Freddo' is the masterpiece that marks a new peak for the band Il Teatro Degli Orrori, an extraordinary work that uniquely blends rock, poetry, and social criticism. With this album, the band once again demonstrates its ability to push the boundaries of sound and thought, offering powerful and intense tracks. The sound is harsh, aggressive, yet at the same time enveloping, creating an atmosphere that leaves no escape. The album tackles deep themes such as disillusionment, social violence, and the condition of man in the contemporary era, with strong lyrics full of meaning. The gritty vocals and the imposing wall of sound intertwine with top-level production, making 'A Sangue Freddo' a work that cannot go unnoticed. Each track is an emotional journey that captivates the listener and drags them into a world of tension and reflection. If you're looking for an album that not only makes you move but also makes you think, 'A Sangue Freddo' is what you're looking for. A must-listen for all fans of Italian rock and those who love music that challenges conventions.

Fernandez Suarez, Eva -& Thomas Barriere-
Adela
A debut that is not a debut: the first collaboration of Eva Fernández Suárez and Thomas Barrière. In late 2016, Eva lost her mother, Adela. That loss looms large over the album named after her. While the grief is palpable on the record, there's so much more than sorrow shaping this work. At times, you'll hear elements of hope and joy emerge - even if you don't understand the Spanish language in which the texts are sung. Eva's love for ancient music is quite literal here - you'll hear music that transcends generations, not just from mother to daughter but echoing across centuries. As a solo singer, Eva's work is firmly rooted in classic folk-inspired material, more specifically in the bleak, bare-bones, and stripped-down kind. The LP is beautifully presented in a full-color sleeve, with a cover photo by Eric Poitevin, and comes with a download coupon. The album is co-released by Morc Records and their friends at Three:Four Records from Switzerland. Recommended if you like: Soccer Committee, Iditarod, Hellvete, Hala Strana, Hildegard von Bingen.

Springer, Mark/neil Tennant/sacconi String Quartet
Sleep Of Reason (2lp)
This project represents a distinct and carefully considered artistic endeavor. Developed by Mark Springer (Rip, Rig and Panic) and Neil Tennant (The Pet Shop Boys), it combines a suite for piano, quartet, and quintet with vocals, accompanied by lyrics offering thoughtful introspection. The collaboration explores the intersection of divergent creative approaches-one characterized by radical expression, the other by meticulous craftsmanship. The result is a work that invites reflection and demonstrates the potential of disciplined artistic dialogue.

Meridian Brothers
Vi (2lp)
Before 'Guaracha UFO' propelled Meridian Brothers onto the international stage, Eblis Alvarez was already shaping his singular sonic universe in the shadows. Released only on CD in between 2009 and 2012 via local label La Distritofónica, Meridian Brothers 'VI' and 'VII' never had wide distribution or media exposure. Yet, these albums represent a crucial phase in the band's evolution, capturing the energy of Bogota's experimental cumbia scene at the time. On 'VI,' Alvarez crafts a hallucinatory patchwork of cumbia and vallenato, using his guitar as the guiding thread before layering other instruments on top. 'VII' pushes experimentation even further with a custom-built sampling algorithm, generating unpredictable loops and grooves. These two albums laid the foundation for the radical fusion and irreverent spirit that would later define Meridian Brothers. Now reissued on vinyl for the first time, these historic recordings offer a raw and fascinating glimpse into the origins of one of Latin America's most forward-thinking musical projects.

Stars From Another Sky Pt. 1
'Stars From Another Sky Pt. 1: Film Songs From The Subcontinent Before the World Was Torn Asunder, 1932-1939.' This collection features some of the earliest songs from South Asian cinema. South Asian immigration to New York and New Jersey surged after the 1965 Immigration and Nationality Act, which lifted non-European quotas. By the 1990s and 2000s, the region's Indian, Pakistani, and Bangladeshi media outlets flourished, especially in Jackson Heights, where such stores outnumbered the total number of regular record shops throughout the five boroughs. The songs on this tape were found in those shops.

Miao Mouthorgans & Other Rare Instruments
"The term Miao is a very ancient Chinese misleading pseudo-ethnic categorisation, what we call the Hmong in western languages, a term recognised by colonial French Indochina. Miao became a generic term which does not reveal the diversity of 38 subgroups or 9 million people, mostly in Southern China Guizhou Province. China having moved towards the market economy, a large number of minority regions have marketed a commodity available only to them: their ethnicity itself. Ethnic tourism has developed in a big way in China since the 1990s for Chinese and foreign tourists, and is often promoted as the way to create income in those areas for development. I usually stay away from ethnotouristic shows and try to get music which is not a commodity! I was based in Dali. Yunnan. China between 2006 and 2013." ~Laurent Jeanneau. Recorded by Laurent Jeanneau and Shi Tanding. Notes by Laurent Jeanneau.
