Gandalf (usa)
Gandalf
Reissue of Gandalf's 1969 self-titled release. Recorded at Century Sound in Manhattan with Grammy-winning producer Brooks Arthur (who engineered Neil Diamond's 'Sweet Caroline' and Van Morrison's 'Brown Eyed Girl'), the production of the album was created on the spot in the studio with arrangements being thrown about and the incredibly haunted vocals being recorded directly from the band's PA using a Binson Echorec to make this innovative sound (Pink Floyd later used the same echo unit to great effect). Add to that sitars, vibes, B3 organs, harpsichord, minor tragic guitar chords, and bass drones aplenty, and you've got the recipe for an album that bears listening to with eyes closed, music cranked, mind open. So get in on the beauty of this record, and as Sando says on the liner notes: "Put the needle in the groove, sit back, and take the trip with GANDALF." Comes on clear vinyl.

Bergh, Bert -van Den-
A Lullaby For Suffering
'A Lullaby For Suffering' is the sequel to 'Songs Of Leonard Cohen' from the theater program of the same name, performed by Bert van den Bergh (vocals, acoustic guitar), Tessa Kersten (vocals), Ton Clout (electric guitar) and Hanz Martenz (piano, keyboard ). Bert was once allowed to perform a song solo during a service as the guitarist of a youth church orchestra. Leonard Cohen's 'Suzanne' became the first song he played in front of an audience. During his musical career, Bert has written much of his own work with Cohen as a guideline and source of inspiration. This work was played with various bands on (large) stages at home and abroad. Cohen's songs have always been a common thread in Bert's musical life, but after the master's death he put his favorite songs together and started playing them live. Sold out halls, applause and praise for the stubborn way in which Bert van den Bergh portrays Cohen without wanting to imitate him.

Ainu
Ainu
Ainu are a Genoese sludge/post doom cinematic trio formed by Dani (guitar/synth/samples), Jacco (bass) and Gelso (drums) and active since 2021. The project takes shape from the passion for cinema and their close relationship with the sea, its stories and the creatures that inhabit it. Their first album is a concept that moves between sound settings alternating power and emotional openings, at a slow pace between psychedelia and post metal. An intense, dense and emotional experience that uses the descriptive foundations of sea men and the calls of huge animals to tell the connection between sound and the environment that composes it.
Pentagram
Review Your Choices (black)
Remastered version of Pentagram's legendary 1999 album 'Review Your Choices' with a brand new cover desgined by Mirkow Gastow. Pentagram's's fourth studio album 'Review Your Choices' marked the band's sixth comeback after several changes of line-up and label. These acclaimed protagonists of doom metal proved once more indestructible by drug addiction, break ups, bad deals, jail terms, chronic illness, satanic blood sacrifices and various acts of self destruction. Main-man and singer Bobby Liebling has kept his band alive for over 35 years now and might easily be awarded the title of "longest serving cult band" - highly acclaimed by fans, press and fellow musicians alike. 'Review Your Choices' marked the return of multi-instrumentalist Joe Hasselvander to join Bobby Liebling in his eternal quest of creating the heaviest sound possible. The album features a mix of re-recorded lost Liebling tracks from the '70s and stellar new numbers penned by Hasselvander, which gave 'Review Your Choices' an extra heavy feeling. Pentagram once again set a standard to be followed by such illustrious followers as Cathedral, Spirit Caravan, Goatsnake, Saint Vitus, Trouble or High On Fire among many others. Dive down deep into gloom and despair with this classic doom recording.
Pentagram
Sub-basement (black)
Remastered version of Pentagram's legendary 2001 album 'Sub-Basement' with a brand new cover designed by Solo Macello. Doom is made out of 666 tons heavy riffing, vocals filled with pain, regret and spite as well as leaden song-structures stretched taut to the point of ripping. Pentagram embody all those virtues like no other contender in this oldest of all genres of metal being founded by none other than Black Sabbath. Many have named Pentagram the true heirs of those originators of heavy metal and honourably dubbed them 'the American Black Sabbath.' In this sixth incarnation of the band, doom lord Bobby Liebling had reunited with drummer Joe Hasselvander, who had already been a member of Pentagram twice before. Hasselvander played all the instruments, while Liebling added his matchless vocals. 'Sub-Basement' was the second output of this line-up and is regarded as the most rock'n'roll effort of the doomsters ever. On top of Pentagram's perfect doom sound an irresistible groove and capturing catchiness was added, which made the album an all time favourite for many fans. 'Sub-Basement' will kick your ass and twist your legs.
