Fronting a nine-piece rhythm and blues band that included long time cohorts Ben Keith and Poncho Sampedro, as well as a full horn section, The Bluenotes were a powerhouse band that showcased yet another side of Neil Young as a rhythm and blues man. Presented here for the first time is the FM Broadcast recording of The Bluenotes live on stage in New York City. Much of the 1988 studio album 'This Note's For You' is represented here in more compelling form, in addition to four songs that remain unreleased.
