Reissue of the cult Japanese jazz fusion album Mabumi originally released in 1981 on Trio Records, remastered from the original tapes and produced in Japan on 180g vinyl in a tip-on sleeve with the original artwork and obi. 'Mabumi' is a cult album in the Japanese jazz fusion scene. It was recorded in New York at Sound Ideas and produced by George Otsuka. Accompanied by Miroslav Vitous and Tony Williams, saxophonist Mabumi Yamaguchi offers a masterpiece of jazz fusion with Balearic, oriental and cosmic groove sounds.
