'Under The Big Black Sun' is the third studio album by American rock band X and was released in 1982. It's arguably their finest record. Before the recording of the album, singer Exene Cervenka's sister was killed by a drunk driver, and the band decided to work out their grief in the music, which eventually resulted in two of the album's best tracks: the melodic 'Riding With Mary' and the vintage '50s sound of 'Come Back To Me'. The record was produced by Ray Manzarek, who is best known as the co-founder of The Doors. The cover art illustration was made by Alfred Harris. Comes on 180 gram vinyl.
