The Gospel Of Primitive Rock 'n' Roll", a documentary about the illustrious Swiss Label VOODOO RHYTHM RECORDS features interviews, rare live footage, and private cuts with label boss Rev. Beat-Man and the bands around him: The Dead Brothers, The Monsters, King Khan, DM Bob, The Watzloves, Zeno Tornado & The Boney Google Brothers, The Come 'n Go, and Dink Winkerton, with a special appearance by The Velvet Hammer Burlesque. This movie tries to find the fine line between the self titled music styles of the label such as: SwampBlues, GarageTrash, XXXCUNTRY, CajunZydecoPunk, BluesTrash, VoodooSoul and PsychoSlavicCountry'n'Eastern and the musicians who make it. The director Marc Littler (South African/Canadian/German) finds the connection between these different bands and styles and finds there is a method to the madness at the Voodoo Rhythm empire.
