This wonderful 164-page softcover book is a study of the legendary music scene of Athens, Georgia, covering the years 1967-2002. Over 130 flyers are shown in full-colour along with essays by Michael Lachowski and Vanessa Hay of Pylon, and Arthur Johnson from the Bar-B-Q Killers. Also included are a foreword by Dave Schools of Widespread Panic, an afterword by Patterson Hood of Drive-By Truckers and even a map to show where all the fun was in Athens.
