Underground River is the solo project of Johnson City, NY-based artist, multi-instrumentalist and producer Hunter Davidsohn. Hunter's finger picked styling and melodic intuitions lay somewhere in a Venne diagram of the early American primitivism of John Fahey, the cowboy psychedelia musings of Lee Hazlewood and the heavy baroque stylings of the Pretty Things, and Hunter was laying it on with the dosage set to "lethal".
