Twelve Thirty Dreamtime
Gorst
Originally started in 1987 as an acoustic project by Tony Reed (Mos Generator, Stone Axe), the project became more of a solid line up when drummer Shawn Johnson (later replaced by Mark Bruggerman of Voodoo Gearshift) and bassist Scooter Haslip came aboard in 1991. Despite Reed joining Treepeople, Johnson joining Epic recording artists Mindfunk, and Haslip joining Voodoo Gearshift, the band still found time to put their ideas to tape, and in time, Gorst was born. Released by the Seattle, WA-based Pentapus label, this collection of tracks captures the bands alternative, hard-rock leanings and was also to be the bands one and only official release. After some regional touring and an aborted follow up, Reed and Haslip rejoined with Shawn Johnson to form Mos Generator.
