One of the biggest icons in popular Brazilian music (MPB), Tim Maia, got a well-deserved remix treatment by Tim Undercover2. 'Barquinho' on the a-side, a classic MPB song already covered by numerous artists, floats around a dire situation that got featured in the news when a boat was left adrift on the high seas all day On the b-side is a rare Tim Maia remix of a song that was recorded in 1975, when Tim Maia was still part of the Cultura Racional sect. The singer had released two albums in early 1975: Tim Maia Racional, Vol. 1 and Tim Maia Racional, Vol. 2. However, the singer left the sect on September 25, 1975 and began to disown the previous albums; thus, "Vol. 3" ended up not being released at the time. This song, therefore, was hidden away for several decades up until his 'Racional, Vol. 3' found its long awaited surface on the face of the earth. Presented as transparent orange vinyl, this 7-inch is a proper tribute to the legacy of the legendary musician.
