Suck Electronic Enciclopedic
Asfixia Al Carrer Valencia
The first ever release of a great lost album ('76-'77) by this legendary band from Barcelona. Suck Electrònic Enciclopèdic were founded in 1975, during the last days of Franco's dictatorship, a period of optimism and adveture, in which anything was possible. SUCK ELECTRONIC ENCICLOPEDIC were an important name in Spain's mid '70s underground, introducing influences of Kraut/Kosmische sounds à la Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream to the scene. Back in the day they released one LP, in 1980, but this previously unissued album basically offers material (selected from three hours of great electronic/psychedelic music) that should have been the real debut full-length! This reissue with remastered sound (by Bob Drake of Henry Cow fame), comes housed in a quality glossy laminated gatefold sleeve, printed on silver cardboard. Included is a 20-page booklet with photos and liner notes and a comic strip. Limited edition of only 500 copies.
