Wailing Again
British psychedelic blues rock band Steamhammer was formed in late 1968 by Martin Quittenton (guitar), Kieran White (vocals, harmonica, guitar), Martin Pugh (guitar), Steve Davy (bass) and Michael Rushton (drums). they released a handul of albums, of which 'Speech' was released posthumously in 1972, after the death of Mick Bradley. Now, exactly 50 years after the release of 'Speech' and 53 years after Pugh and Sears first worked together on the band's debut, Steamhammer will release the 'Wailing Again' with new compositions. Alongside the 1968 founding member Martin Pugh (guitars) and Pete Sears (bass, keyboards and backing vocals), also a former member of Jefferson Starship from 1974 to 1987, Manfred Mann's Earth Band drummer John Lingwood, who joined Steamhammer in 1972, and Phil Colombatto (vocals & harmonica).
