Recorded as a trio, 'The Perfect Prescription' is a glorious amalgamation of discordant psyche, Lou Reed hustle and gospel surrealism. Compared to the debut-album, there's a considerably less rock-oriented sound with much more open space in its varied, subtle arrangements.
