Shilo, J.p.
Jubjote
Enigmatic multi-instrumentalist J.P. Shilo emerges from the shadows to present 'Jubjoté', a beautifully esoteric live reimagining of the Melbourne Town Hall Grand Organ. J.P. Shilo is best known for his work with legendary Melbourne-based band Hungry Ghosts. He also contributed to classic albums by Rowland S. Howard, Mick Harvey, Adalita, The Triffids and the Blackeyed Susans. Backed for this live performance by Hungry Ghosts' violinist T.J. Howden, Shilo leads the capacity Town Hall audience through oscillations of neoclassical focus, wild-eyed psychedelia and avant-garde fragmentation. The LP comes on COLOURED VINYL and is presented with a gatefold sleeve and an obi strip.
