Semool
Essais (black)
Third in a series of ten reissues of the cult French underground Futura label. Semool were the trio of Philippe Martineau, Olivier Cauquil and Rémy Dédé Dreano. They recorded 'Essais' between 1969 and 1971. This is a foggy lo-fi psychedelic alien trip with echoes of Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath drowned in oceans of heavy delay and acid guitars. This high quality reissue is fully licenced by Gerard Terrones. "Absolute masterpiece released through Futura label" ~Mutant Sounds. "This is what might have happened if an absinthe-laden Pink Floyd had cut a session for Actuel/BYG! Dare I say essential?" ~John Gibson - Other Music. Limited edition of 700 copies on black vinyl in 350 gram sleeve with obi strip.
