Scions is a Toronto-based innovative experimental ensemble featuring members from the award-winning minimalist chamber-jazz quartet New Hermitage, the Polaris-nominated drone-hymn duo Joyful Joyful and acclaimed producer and composer Michael Cloud Duguay. For this album the seven members culled material from improv sessions and collaboratively shaped it into the unique body of work that is 'To Cry Out In The Wilderness'.
