Split release of the same song but by two different Brazilian artists - bundled as 7-inch release under the name "Brasilidades2". The A-side contains the late Paula Ribasm, a.k.a. the queen of twist, and provides a poppy spin to the track "Pena Verde" that was released in '69 on her EP - providing a new dimension by her interpretation of the Abilio Manoel song. It was remarked in the time by its emotion and depth and stood the test of time since many others have interpreted the song while Ribas' version remains emblemtic. As for the B-side, "Nelson Quinteto" - an obscure Brazilian musical group of whom is little known - gives the song a more tradition MPB recipe to which the samba sauce is favouritely flavoured. Limited run on appetizing purple splattered turquoise vinyl.
