Anatomy Of Anarchy

Oliwood is a project by Berlin drummer/composer Oli Steidle. For each production he puts together a different line-up, which performs and records music, specially written for the actual band setting. For 'Anatomy Of Anarchy', which co-features Peter Evans, Rudi Mahall and Robert Landfermann, the vision was to present music in a completely acoustic line-up, with a modern approach of so called 'jazz from the '60s'. The result is an electrifying, intense mixture of music, moving from rubato, over solos and collective improvisations, among complex compositions towards improvisations over crazy forms.
