New Zero God is an Athenian four-piece gothic post-punk band formed in March 2006 by Mike Pougounas with members that played with his former bands, Flowers Of Romance and Nexus. While in the past Pougounas shared the stage with bands such as Sisters Of Mercy, New Model Army, and The Mission, with New Zero God he found himself in the company of Christian Death, The Legendary Pink Dots and Andi Sex Gang.
