Nash The Slash
Bedside Companion
Nash The Slash's debut came in 1978 in the form of 'Bedside Companion,' a four-track 12" EP that Nash claimed was the first ever vinyl that could be played at two speeds (45 RPM and 33 1/3 RPM). When the material was first released on CD, both speeds were recorded/included, in order to expand the release to eight tracks - and in effect, make an LP out of the original 12" EP. This eight track version had never appeared on vinyl, until this 2016 edition.
