Moore, G.t. -& The Reggae Guitars-
G.t. Moore & The Reggae Guitars
A groundbreaking album, originally from 1974, is back on wax! Back in the day this LP bridged the gap between the UK rock scene and the then seemingly new sound of reggae music. G.T. Moore had been part of the legendary folk group Heron before becoming the first white musician to make any serious attempt to make authentic reggae. This eponymously titled debut from the Reggae Guitars co-featured session musician John Rabbit, who had also worked with The Wailers, Free and The Who. The set consists of originals plus a few covers of songs by Bob Dylan, The Heptones and Diana Ross.
