The legends and mysteries of Capri inspired the duo that Marie Modiano and Peter von Poehl have formed for almost twenty years for their second album with four hands and two voices, 'Capri: Ballad Of The Spirits.' Three years after the graceful gothic tale 'Songs From The Other Side,' widely acclaimed by critics and which gave rise to a show created at the Center Pompidou, in Paris. The Franco-Swedish couple on the verge of becoming iconic and who have no equal in intertwining aerial poetry and pointillist pop, here invoke the spirits and celebrate the majesty of Isola Azzurra on a soundtrack enhanced with the groove of drummer Larry Mullins (Nick Cave, Iggy Pop) and superb brass arrangements.
