Missus Beastly
Missus Beastly (2nd)
The history of Missus Beastly from Herford is very confusing. Their first LP (CPM LP S 002) - from 1970, self-titled, with a red cover - still could be filed under "Underground". 'Nara Asst Incense' (OPP 5-32) is an illegal re-release of this LP. Their second record (Nova 6.22030) - again self-titled, in a gorilla cover - came out in 1974. It is instrumental jazz-rock, played by a significantly changed line-up. To crown it all, there was a group that had the audacity to pose as Missus Beastly and even released records under their name. The first vinyl re-issue of the real Missus Beastly's second LP has now been released, taken from the master tapes. It comes with an 8-page insert in LP size. Limited edition of 1000 hand-numbered copies. With one bonus track from the Vlotho festival sampler 1975.
