Metallica
Damage In Japan (2lp)
By 1986, Metallica had gained a fearsome reputation for performing fast, aggressive, thrash metal, but still continued to stun audiences worldwide. Following the tragic death of bassist Cliff Burton in a bus crash on 27th September, many believed the band would break-up. However, with the blessing of Burton's family, Metallica soldiered on, enlisting Jason Newsted as his replacement. In mid-November, the group gave four shows in Japan. One of the shows was recorded for live radio. Previously unavailable, this concert is now released on vinyl for the first time on this 2LP set.
