Presented on vinyl are rare early '80s recordings of the US new wave/power pop/post-punk trio featuring David Javelosa (on synth and vocals), Meg Brazill (on bass and vocals) and drummer Todd "Rosa" Rosencrans. Side 1 features five studio tracks, none of which were included on the band's 1981 Posh Boy LP 'Life After Breakfast'. The second side collects five live cuts, capturing Los Microwaves onstage in New York City (The Peppermint Lounge) and Boston as well as at San Francisco's own I-Beam, a venue that often played host to the band. This is receommended to fans of a.o. Flying Lizzards, Blondie, Gang Of Four and, at times, even Human League.
