As the case with most of Andrew Liles' releases, 2021's 'It's Only Pain' covers a lot of styles: from heavy rock to psychedelia and one of the tracks wouldn't even be out of place in a West End musical. This is a compelling album full of unlikely twists and turns. And most of all, it's a unique homage to Liles' dead father's memory and words, which form the very foundation of this work.
