Somewhat incredibly, this four-piece vocal soul act are still performing today after 56 years of harmonising, without anything they recorded achieving a physical release until a few years ago. What began as four guys singing together for fun after basketball practice in Portland, took until early 1977 to realise as actual recordings - and that lone tape of four original songs lay unreleased until 2020. From that set Soul7 pulled a bright and lively gem ripe for plays on the Modern Soul scene, backed with stunning, polished slow-jam.
