Dr Pete Larson spent several years in Kenya under the tutelage of one of the last elder masters of the nyatiti, the eight stringed lyre of the Luo people in Kenya. But of course Larson had to go and mess it all up and create this African-psyche fuzz guitar synth fusion soundscape, together with indie rocker Fred Thomas (Saturday Looks Good To Me), acclaimed percussionist Mike List (Porcelain Hammer) and Dave Sharp (Melvins).
