Hailing from Montreal, Knitting is a four-piece that operates under the spell of '90s alt-rock acts s.a. Nirvana and Hole, as well as contemporary bands putting a new spin on that era, like Wednesday, Momma and DIIV. With some songs reaching as many as fifteen guitar tracks, the band has created a heavy record full of fuzzed-out guitar textures, thick bass lines and sweeping drum fills, all cocooning - but never fully submerging - Mischa Dempsey's whispered vocals.
