Roses In The Snow
As the follow-up to 2019's 'Shoeprints', Brad Kleiman pays tribute to the music of Christa Päffgen, better known to the world as Nico, the singer of the Velvet Underground. Produced again by Liquid Liquid's Dennis Young, 'Roses In The Snow' picks up where 'Shoeprints' left off, with Brad's vocals and acoustic guitar as a foundation. This time, however, the sound is expanded on with a variety of instrumental adornments and collaborations. It has contributions by Raymond Bally (guitar), Joe Braverman (saxophone and flute), string arrangements by Noah Teachy and Dennis Young on various instruments. As a longtime admirer of Nico's one-of-a-kind solo work, Brad delivers unique interpretations of the original material, while still capturing a hint of the atmosphere of Nico's artistic landscape.
