In 1987, newlyweds Jeff and Susanne Kelly released the out-of-print Coffee in Nepal, a simple home recording done on 4-track porta-studio by the two of them and first released on cassette. It was modest by design. It was intimate. It was personal. In 2013, after releasing four Green Pajamas/ Goblin Market projects in one year, Jeff decided it was time for a different project. Time to return to present, time to make "Coffee II". By Reckless Moonlight is that album. It starts out with the understated "A Girls Game" and winds its way through songs of the neighborhood and the Brazilian sex trade to finish with the plaintive longing of "Please Come Home." In between you have a series of wandering tales that, while done in a more sophisticated fashion as one might expect twenty-five years later, somehow illustrate the essential nature of the Kellys shared artistic life. Their vision. Jeff Kelly is the leader of Seattles legendary Green Pajamas as well as the Goblin Market. Since 1984, he has put out over 30 albums of material with the Pajamas, the Goblins and as a solo artist.
