Kawalerowie
Palcie Tylko "sporty"
This compilation album by the Polish big beat band Kawalerowie is released by Kameleon Records. The album features 24 tracks, totaling over 63 minutes of music, and includes all known recordings by the Warsaw-based group. The first 16 tracks were recorded during various radio sessions, with 12 originally released in the 1960s on three EPs, and three others published later. Notably, the track 'Beczka' makes its debut on this compilation. Kawalerowie's music is characterized by a raw, guitar-driven sound influenced by rhythm and blues acts like The Kinks, The Animals, and The Yardbirds. Their repertoire includes original compositions and Polish-language covers of Western songs, delivered with youthful energy by vocalists Jerzy Szczesniak and Michal Zarzycki. The album also features five tracks where the band accompanies singer Michal Hochman, including the well-known 'Konik Na Biegunach.'
