Korean saxophonist Kang Tae-Hwan's 'Eternal Moment,' released by NoBusiness Records, offers a mesmerizing live performance with Japanese percussionist Midori Takada, recorded in 1995 at Café Amores in Japan. This rare archival release captures 77 minutes of deeply engaging, freely improvised music. Kang's circular breathing and Takada's mantra-like rhythms create hypnotic, minimalist soundscapes, most notably in the 42-minute opener, 'Syun Soku.' Their interplay is intense yet subtle, with Kang balancing wild, animalistic tones and gentle melodic currents.
