After 20!! years of more or less silence in terms of new production of own songs, Hymans has finally got a brand new full-length. For those of you who probably don't know who the Hymans are, they have existed as a band pretty much intact since 1984. The music has its roots in the Ramones, Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers and early New York punk which they reboiled into something of their own. The record 'Hymanization' is the Hymans' sixth full-length. The result is a completely new side of Hymans where you of course still recognize the basic recipe of the songs where melodies and song structure are basic punk rock and rock'n'roll, still with a lot of roots in the musical heritage of the old New York punk. Hymans fans won't be dissatisfied, but this is a bit tougher and it is noticeable that you are no longer boy-spoilers who are seduced by worldly problems, but perhaps even gone so far that the world's problems pock for little interest.
