Howland, Don -& Cheater Slicks-
Endgame/poor Me
Two forces of lo-fi garage punk come together for the first time on this new single on Morbid Web. Don Howland (Gibson Bros, Bassholes, Burning Bus) and Cheater Slicks have finally collaborated on a joint musical project. The history between them goes back to the beginnings of the garage punk movement of the early 1990's. Both bands were the first to put out LPs on In The Red in 1992. Since then, they have done many shows together and have been on many of the same record labels. These shared sensibilities come together perfectly on this session, resulting in a re-recording of a Don Howland original called 'Endgame' and a new version of Charley Patton's 'Poor Me.' Irreverent, loud and crude - just the way rock'n'roll should be!
