If I say Kerrin Pantelakis sings like a Siren, are you gonna think its just rock-crit speak for "Shes got a pretty voice"? Because thats not quite it. Get out your Edith Hamiltons. Im saying her soaring, searing vocal charms lure sailors gladly to their doom; her tempestuous moans splinter ships against the rocks. Yes, its pretty, but its also obsidian and opiate, and not just on the wailing bridges and choruses.
