In September of 2009 Play Loud! asked Gossip and The Raincoats if they would like to see a 7 inch release of their contributions to the highly acclaimed soundtrack album 'Silver Monk Time - A Tribute To The Monks' (compilation of the year 2007 in Wire Magazine). Here their answer: "The idea for the single with Gossip is a match made in heaven." (The Raincoats). "A dream come true!" (Gossip).
