Fred Gardner talked about legalization of marijuana, the kidnapping of Patty Hearst, socialism, freedom and equality. Love Shortage can be categorized as a heavy political album considering its lyrics and motive, but the music itself is an awesome combination of country, folk, reggae and brass rock.
