Limited edition of 200 copies on transparent red vinyl. Highly gifted US-trio from Chicago with a very strong debut album! The band's self-description "we make sad happy music to dance to" sums it up pretty well. Discogs mentions genres such as dreampop, gothrock, new wave and indie, but in the end it can be summed up as post-punk, which on the one hand fits well into the ongoing trend. On the other hand, however, it relies less on the usual gloom and instead conveys a positive overall mood.
