Farr, Gary
Strange Fruit
After his debut album in 1969, Gary Farr's second album, 'Strange Fruit,' released the following year, diverged significantly from the singer-songwriter elements akin to contemporaries like Cat Stevens. Of course, his music style, rooted in typical British folk-rock, was still underlying. His cover version of Billie Holiday's iconic song 'Strange Fruit' on this album is also remarkably excellent.
