Farr, Gary -& The T-bones With Keith Emerson-
Live On Tv Ep
Renamed and repriced. Gary Farr and his ever-changing T-Bones had just three singles and an EP to their name on Columbia in 1964-'65. Hear them as a vibrant four-piece on side 1 of this EP with Vince Whetherall's guitar driving them through powerful versions of Dylan's 'Maggie's Farm' and the soulful 'Give All She's Got'. The five-piece band are performing the R&B classic 'Wooly Bully' at the Richmond Jazz & Blues fest. Then two tracks from 1966 with perhaps the most interesting line-up featuring the king of trad Chris Barber on trombone with future Nice luminaries Keith Emerson and Lee Jackson. SIDE 1: 1. Maggie's Farm 2. Give All She's Got 3. Interview SIDE 2: 1. Rock Candy 2. The Right Place 3. Wooly Bully
