K.K. Hammond is a slide guitar playing songstress living in the backwoods of the UK. She takes her influence from the Delta blues players of the 1930s and the roots music of Appalachia. Fusing the vibe of the swamp with a sprinkle of Southern gothic horror, K.K. writes traditionally inspired roots music, but twists it her own unique way for an untapped sound that appeals to contemporary music listeners as well as classic blues fans.
