Dick Curless (1932-1995) had one of the most versatile voices in the history of country music. His first releases in the mid-50's already profiled him as a magnificent singer and songwriter. In 1969 he signed with Capitol Records, a company with whom he released no less than five studio LPs and one live album between 1970 and 1973. This LP gathers fourteen songs from that period. Songs about roads, trucks, alcohol, women and jukeboxes that, despite being the peak of his artistic career, have never been vindicated at the level they deserve.
