Philippe Cohen-Solal, former musical director for Virgin, has worked on film scores. Then he met composer and arranger Christophe Chassol with whom he created a soundtrack for an imaginary film. Issued for the first time, this album pays tribute to the art of soundtracks, inspired by the world of sophisticated arrangements by Michel Legrand, Henry Mancini, Lalo Schifrin and many others. With a touch of folk jazz from vocalists Nivo and Gabriela Arnon and a contribution from the band leader of Scritti Politti, Green Gartside.
