Formed in late 1960s New York, Child released only one album before disappearing, leaving behind a psychedelic rock band reminiscent of Vanilla Fudge, Deep Purple, Liquid Smoke, etc., with a powerful organ sound at its core. Their debut album, released in 1968, encapsulates heavy psychedelic rock, with a touch of blues rock and prominent wah-wah guitar sounds.
