Bevis Frond
Sprawl (2cd)
'Sprawl', originally released on Woronzow in 1994, features Nick Saloman with Jimmy Hastings (flute), Tony Aldridge (violin) and Andy Ward on drums. The vocals were provided by Ade Shaw, Dean Carter and Mick Donovan along with Current 93's David Tibet guesting with spoken word on the spiritual 'Right On (Hippy Dream)'. Including a number of long stretched tracks, 'Sprawl' rates as one of Bevis Frond's most trippy and hypnotic works. This DOUBLE-CD reissue features bonus material including 'Sister John' (1997) which was previously released on a split single with Sandoz Lime, 'Dry Rain' (1996) from the Terrascope Benefit album 'Succour', tracks from the cassette only release 'Vaultscan Vol. 1' (1997) and more.
