Banco Presenta Francesco Di Giacomo
Non Mettere Le Dita Nel Naso
Originally released in 1989 and introduced by the unusual caption "Banco Presents Francesco Di Giacomo," 'Non Mettere Le Dita Nel Naso' can be actually considered an album by the legendary Banco Del Mutuo Soccorso, the first and only episode of a hypothetical series of albums that would have personally involved the various members of the band. For that project, only this work was fully completed, a really valid record despite sounding quite different from the classic progressive rock we would expect from Di Giacomo and Banco: 'Non Mettere Le Dita Nel Naso' is an album that fits perfectly the '80s context in which it was composed, suspended among songwriting, pop-rock and jazz-funk sounds, characterized by a crisp and clear production and, obviously, by Francesco's unmistakable vocal timbre. A record that's still valid today, that will appeal not only to any Banco completists, but simply to any good music lover! After more than 30 years after its original edition, 'Non Mettere Le Dita Nel Naso' is now finally reissued for the first time in LP format, on 180gr transparent yellow vinyl, including a faithful reproduction of the lyric inner sheet.
